This is an excellent post for the implementation of TLS connections for Exchange 2003. I have a question though. For email clients that do not support TLS (I don’t think apple mail does) how can I implement a SSL connection rather than TLS. Everything I have tried has failed, but on a client that supports either SSL or TLS (thunderbird) if I choose STARTTLS it works, but with SSL it does not. Any info would be helpful as I am running out of hair to pull out of my head.
